PREPARED

A million thoughts are going through my mind right now.  I flew out to Missouri today.  I'm now in a hotel room reading the packet for the first time (since I never actually recieved it back home. oh well).  Everything I'm reading is making me ten times more excited for what's ahead.  I'm not afraid and I'm not worried.  But, there's a lot to know and a lot to be prepared for.
Amazingly enough, I've realized this week how much God has been preparing me for this year.  I can sense His excitement for me!  This past Summer, my greatest desire was to get to know Him better.  He helped me set aside distractions and He led me straight to His arms.  That blows my mind.  As long as I'm focusing in on Him at all times, I will not be shaken.  He is the rock that I lean on.
Thanks for all your prayers!  Continue to pray for me, other students, and leaders as we head into Ground School these next two weeks.  There's a lot of physical training and it's not going to be easy.   Pray.  I can't thank you all enough!

Isaiah 40:28-31
"...The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
 He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives STRENGTH to the weary adn increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;

but those who HOPE in the LORD will RENEW THEIR STRENGTH.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
